Amber has made headlines recently for defending treatment courts in Clay County and stated the current policy decision to pull out of these programs would be reversed on day one, if she is elected. Treatment courts are effective tools to reduce recidivism and Amber would ensure prosecutors return to the multidisciplinary treatment court teams.
